What's a TAB Pig?

R:

Go here.

What is tablature?

E:

What do those abbreviations mean?

Q:

TPC#1 = "TabPig Convention #1"
STL = St. Louis, Missouri
WAB = "Weekend At Bernie's"
LSET = "Last Steam Engine Train" - long titles are abbreviated. (Ever wonder why abbreviated is such a long word?)

Get out of here. This is no place for you.

U:

How did the TAB Pigs meet?

E:

We are all players who met and came together through the common interest of Leo Kottke's music. Most have come into the group through either Bruce Head's Unofficial Leo Kottke Website or through RMMGA (rec.music.makers.guitar.acoustic) newsgroup.

Are there more TAB Pigs than are mentioned on this site?

N:

Why do you wear pig noses in your WAB picture?

T:

Duh? Some PIG brain thought it would be cute that we all wear PIG noses since we called ourselves the TABPIGs!

We have a couple of TAB candidates, people who, for one reason or another, aren't quite sure they want the social stigma of being called a TAB Pig.

L:

Why does everyone have a nick-name?

Y:

Jet is the one responsible (point those fingers, pigs!) for the Pig names. As you may know, call-signs/handles are standard in Navy aviation (kind of like the Army and their "If it moves, salute it. If it doesn't, paint it" standard). One thing led to another and here we are with call-signs.

Is Kottke the only artist you are pigs about?

A:

Am I a TAB Pig?

S:

Check here to find out.

No, but he's the only one that everyone has focused on. We will eventually include more artists.

K:

How do I become a TAB Pig?

E:

No one has ever asked to become a Pig, but since you ask, we came up with a registration form.

D:

My favorite song is "McArthur's Park." What's yours?

Geez, did you ever come to the wrong place. Here's our top 10 Kottke picks.
